Dear Piaaray Sat Sangat ji,
It’s been such a blessing serving as the Executive Director for SikhNet these last couple of years. I am so proud of what the SikhNet team has accomplished during this time. We have grown traffic to our site and apps by 50%. We have expanded our staff. We improved the Gurbani Media Center and relaunched this core service as SikhNet Play. We began releasing animations in Punjabi as well as English. We have published thousands of original Sikh-related articles in English, as well as developed new Inspirational videos. The list goes on.
With a sense of deep satisfaction for these accomplishments, I am pleased to announce a change in Executive Directors here at SikhNet. January 15, 2025 will be my last day serving in this role. Our new Executive Director, Dass Atma Singh Khalsa, will take on this position moving forward.
Dass Atma Singh comes to SikhNet with a tremendous love of Sikhi. He has a mature and extensive background in marketing, business development and team leadership. With the Guru’s blessing, Dass Atma Singh can lead SikhNet to its next level of growth: creating more content, reaching more people, and continuing to develop the SikhNet team.
I hope you will join me in welcoming Dass Atma Singh Khalsa to the position of Executive Director of SikhNet.
In closing, please know I have so much gratitude for the opportunity to have served all of you these last couple years. Whatever we have accomplished, we have done it together - with you, the Sat Sangat, and with the tremendous teamwork of the truly talented and dedicated staff at SikhNet. Whatever the future, I know SikhNet and the community are interconnected and will continue to evolve together.
May the Guru bless you and guide you to your best and highest destiny in 2025 and beyond.
