1. Gurmat Raaganjali
A 20-minute musical journey through all 31 Rags of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, presented in chronological order and accompanied by 13 traditional Taals.
2. Malhaar Keertan Chauki
A traditional Chauki presentation featuring Partaal, Pauri, and other authentic elements of Gurmat Sangeet preserved in the Malhar tradition.

Background to the Event:
Sikh Heritage Symphony is an organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and educating the community, especially the next generation, about Gurmat Sangeet, with a focus on traditional Sikh musical instruments and Gurbani Keertan in prescribed Raags.
Through performances, workshops, and educational initiatives, Sikh Heritage Symphony seeks to cultivate a deeper appreciation for Gurmat Sangeet and ensure that this sacred tradition continues to flourish globally. This ensemble has had the honor of performing at several esteemed venues, including:
Historical Gurdwaras and educational institutions in India, including Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Akal Takhat Sahib, Chief Khalsa Diwan, Fatehgarh Sahib University, Guru Kashi University, among others
The Sikh Heritage Symphony are dedicated students from the United States, ranging in age from 8 to 22 years, all trained in Gurbani Keertan in prescribed Raags and traditional Tanti Saaz. The ensemble performs on instruments such as the Rabab, Saranda, Taus, Dilruba, Sarangi, and Sitar.
The group typically consists of 5 to 15 performers. A highlight of the presentation is Gurmat Raaganjali, a unique composition based on the 31 Raags of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in sequence, accompanied by 13 Taals.
Dr. Leena Singh Bedi is the Director of Sikh Heritage Symphony, her deep love and devotion for Gurbani and music have shaped her life’s journey. Holding
a Ph.D. in Gurmat Sangeet, she is both a performing artist and an educator dedicated to preserving and sharing Sikh musical heritage. Her transition from engineering to music reflects a path guided by passion and commitment.
A disciple of Dr. Gurnam Singh and a student of Rabab under Ustad Homayoun Sakhi, her work integrates traditional Gurmat Sangeet with thoughtful presentation for global audiences. Her contributions have been recognized by the Akal Takhat and through various international honors. She has also worked extensively on
English translations of Gurbani, with her recordings reaching audiences through radio and other platforms.
