EcoSikh has organized it's second Guru Nanak Sacred Forest in Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector-26, Chandigarh commemorating the 550th birth-anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. In a 3-day workshop organised by EcoSikh in collaboration with the college, over 100 individuals attended the workshop. This forest was developed over an area of 150 sq. metre planting around 600 trees of 35 different native species.

EcoSikh has organized it's third Guru Nanak Sacred Forest in Sri Guru Harkrishan International School, Behrampur Road, Gurdaspur commemorating the 550th birth-anniversary of Guru Nanak. In a 3-day workshop organised by EcoSikh in collaboration with the school, around 100 individuals attended the workshop. This forest was developed over an area of 160 sq. metre comprising 550 trees of 28 different species.

Workshop at Amritsar by Satnam Sarab Kalyan Trust
EcoSikh India President Supreet Kaur conducts a workshop organized by Satnam Sarab Kalyan Trust for teachers on environmental preservation and curtailing air pollution, a major cause of disease and ailment in Punjab and Northern India.

Stall by EcoSikh at Jeevay Punjab

EcoSikh had set-up a stall at Jeevay Punjab event. The people were sensitized about air pollution and also gave information about Guru Nanak Bagh and Guru Nanak Sacred Forest. We had also put leaflets of Guru Nanak Bagh in the books which were distributed to the audience.

EcoSikh participates in Climate Crisis Conference in Houston

EcoSikh represented the Sikh perspective at a climate conference in Houston, Texas. The Rothko Chapel and University of St. Thomas hosted a three day symposium exploring the current climate crisis, its impact on vulnerable communities, and mitigation efforts being implemented locally and nationally.
