This is dedicated to Satya Amrit Singh Khalsa 26 years old from Santiago, Chile who left his body while serving the Panth Khalsa at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, India on October 26, 2010.

Satya Amrit Singh Khalsa was an example of the many new young Sikhs born in South America whose sole purpose was his devotion to serve the Guru's mission.

Chile is the backbone of South America. It is a country born from the power of earthquakes and volcanoes. It stretches more than 3000 miles from north to south and encompasses every kind of geography imaginable from dry desert to spectacular mountains and glaciers. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Andean Mountains to the east. Seismic activity has created an incredible country only 90 miles wide. Incredibly also it is a country with more than 300 Kundalini Yoga teachers who have taught the sacred science of Shabd Guru for many years.

Upon landing in the capital city of Santiago, we were warmly greeted by the sangat and our host Ambassador Alfredo Sfeir-Younis. For 34 years Ambassador Sfeir-Younis has been an economist with the World Bank as well as their Special Representative to the United Nations. Chilean by birth, Alfredo is a Buddhist Llama and Mayan Priest who now resides in Chile after 34 years of living abroad. He is known worldwide as a man of Peace and the foremost authority on blending spirituality and economics. He is also the founder of the Zambalayan Institute for the Development of the Human - a non profit organization dedicated to World Peace.

After settling into his historic home, we immediately proceeded to the Lord of Miracles Festival. It is a daylong event with music, yoga, healing sessions, shopping bazaar, and food booths celebrating the life of Guru Ram Das and culminating with a lecture by S.S. Gurubachan Singh Khalsa. During the final conference the attendees meditated and learned Pranayam on how to connect with oneself. When a person can conquer the rhythm of the breath, one can conquer his mental attitude and behavior as well. After the lecture we were all invited to the home of Balwant Kaur and her family where we dined on wonderful Chilean vegetarian food.

The next day we had traveled to a local business to share with the employees the technology of Kundalini Yoga and breath in order to reduce their stress and make them more productive. We have found that many large corporations, governmental agencies and the public in general are searching for techniques that can help them handle the pace and stress of life. All of the teachings that Yogi Bhajan has taught us through the science of Kundalini Yoga and Shabd Guru has made such an incredible impact in the quality of life of those who participate. In fact, in every country that we are visiting the requests for our conferences supersede our time allotted. After meeting with the private business we immediately drove to our next event to work with the city administrative workers of Santiago. For 2 hours, S.S. Gurubachan Singh shared with them simple, practical techniques of breathing and meditating to handle their lives. The attendees were uplifted and grateful. Ambassador Alfredo Sfeir- Younis also spoke about the integration of spirituality and business and how the two are extensions of one another, not conflicting entities.

After a wonderful day with the people of Santiago Chile, we were invited by Nam Nidhan Kaur and her mother, Sat Sangat Kaur to a wonderful Lebanese dinner in her home. There the entire sangat ate langar and enjoyed the evening. Sardarni Sahiba Nam Nidhan Kaur is known as the holy mother of South America. For years, she has been spreading the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, Kundalini Yoga and Shabd Guru throughout the continent. Additionally, her foundation "Women of Light" has made incredible impact into the lives of thousands of women and her tireless work for the cause of women and their grace has earned her tremendous recognition throughout South America.

The following day found Dr Ardass giving his healing sessions to dozens of people all day. Dr Ardass from Germany has a special gift of intuition and healing given to him by Guru Ram Das. His approach is nurturing, loving and effective. Everyone is touched by his heart and grace and light. That evening we all gathered for another wonderful pizza evening by our host Ambassador Sfier-Younis followed by a wonderful session with the sangat in his home. There he shared with us his expertise in spirituality, business, working for peace and building sangat. Internationally, Ambassador Sfeir-Younis is also known for his Silent Meditations for Peace that is attended by thousands of people everywhere. Everyone was captivated and appreciated the generous time he spent with us.

Our short time in Chile went by very quickly. This tour is about seva and the sangat of Chile is a great example of it. For months now they travel every week end to the south of Chile that was devastated by the earthquake in February. They bring langar, healing sessions, doctors, yoga classes, tents and a lot of hope to those who have lost everything. Their seva there as well as their langar seva every week in the streets of Santiago is a most blessed sight. We always cannot wait until we return to Chile to be with everyone.
