The Parliament of the World’s Religions is pleased to announce a competition for essays that directly engage with its Global Ethic document, also known as "Towards a Global Ethic (An Initial Declaration)," in anticipation of its international interfaith Convening in Chicago, USA in 2023.

The top three winners will receive a cash prize and complimentary registration to the Convening, where they will present their essays in a dedicated program session. Find out more about Global Ethic here

How to Enter

To participate, essays must be written in English and no longer than 1000 words, with a clear focus on the Global Ethic document. The top three prize-winners will receive $1000 USD, $500 USD, and $250 USD, respectively, and their registration fees for the 2023 Convening of Parliament will be waived.
