Gurdwara Paonta Sahib

Gurdwara Paonta Sahib on the banks of the Jamuna River. The tenth Sikh Guru held his famed court of poets here in the Himalayan foothills of what is today the state of of Himachal Pradesh. A beautiful, peaceful place. One stop on the way from Punjab to Hemkunt Sahib.

Gurdwara Rawalsar Sahib and Prayer Flags

The lake of Rawalsar is sacred to Buddhists, Hindus, and Sikhs. The historical gurdwara (seen here through Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags) commemorates the visit of the tenth Sikh Guru. This remote place is accessible from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, and is one stop on the way from Punjab to Manikaran Sahib.
