14 March 2016 - Kapurthala: Twenty five-member delegation from eight countries on Sunday visited holy Kali Bein in Sultanpur Lodhi. They felt proud after taking a dip in the Kali Bein and felt a peace of mind at supreme level. These foreign Sikh nationals have arrived here under the leadership of Satmukh Singh from France and Dharnjot Kaur of China. Rest of them hailrd from Australia, New Zealand, Hongkong, Taiwan and Egypt. They took a round of Kali Bein in a boat with environmentalist Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal who narrated the whole story of 16 years of perseverance and hard work to clean the Kali Bein.
Babaji also praised the volunteers who contributed for the cleanliness of Kali Bein to put it on the global map. Delegation also visited the nursery and treatment plant constructed at Seechewal village whom the Union government has named after Saint Seechewal and trying to replicate this model on Namami Ganga besides they visited religious places in holy city Sultanpur Lodhi and enoyed langar after sitting in the common masses.
