art of sharing

what a wonderful video..indeed Guruka Singh Ji has the art of sharing his experience..and explaining things...with such a sweet touch of openness! with lots of love, Kaur

Thank You

Sat Sri Akal Guruka Singh Ji, Thanks for the wonderful video. It is a blessing to hear it. I got some views/ questions: 1. How do we Experience the living Guru? 2. When we go for the "matha tek", should we visualize as if Guru Nanak Dev ji or any of our ten Gurus are sitting over there? If we do that, then we really feel close to guru, as if we are sitting in the lap of Guru? If we think that we are bowing before "shabad guru", then may be we are bowing as a respect to the "words" that have been spoken by gurus whom they received from Almighty. However, if we bow as a respect, the feeling of "Love" may not come to the same depth as when we bow thinking that it is Guru Nanak Dev ji or any of our Gurus sitting in front of us. This may be my personal experience only. 3. could you please elaborate and clarify? Thanks a ton again for your insights. Regards A learner

You are welcome

Sat Siri Akal, New Singh Ji 1. We each experience our Guru in our own way, by His grace. Your experience is your experience alone. It is the longing of your jeart that brings that grace into your life. 2. There is no one way that one "should" visualize anything. Clear your mind, and when you do your matha tek concentrate on surrendering yourself, for that is what you are truly offering... yourself. Let your prayer in that moment be, "I am Yours, and You are mine." You are right that it is your personal experience - and Guru Ji will bless you with exactly the experience that you need. It is all perfect. .....G "A sound man's heart is not shut within itself but it is always open to other people's hearts. If I am true enough, I feel the heartbeats of others above my own."
