SikhNet.com Re-Design

You are now viewing the all new SikhNet website. We have totally re-designed and re-organized all the content to make it more focused and clean. It's been a while since we updated the design and SikhNet has changed a lot since. Please take a little bit of time to get familiar with where the different sections are and how to get around. Let us know what you think... The new SikhNet website is still under development but getting closer to "phase 1" switch over which we hope to do at the end of next week. Those of you who read this on MrSikhNet.com are some of the first few to check out the new website.

Some of the main changes to SikhNet so far are:

• Simplified and Re-organized home page
  
• Site oriented more like a media/e-zine focused on articles and content. Organized into different categories.
• Flash News Scroller visually showing featured articles
  
• Strong focus on video with featured videos on the home page.
  
• New Discussion forum system.
  
• Beautiful custom artwork for SikhNet headers of major sections by Kanwar Singh (ArtOfPunjab.com).
  
• Many smaller improvements all over the new website.
  

There is lots more stuff that we are in progress with and will be announced after we finish this first phase switch over to the new system. It’s all so exciting! There is so much to do. I wish we had 10 people to work on this. If any of you reading this are skilled in php/drupal/css/web design and would like to help please do let me know. Let me know what you think and if you have any feedback, see bugs, or have suggestions. Keep in mind that the site is still under development so there might be some "kinks" that we have to work out in the coming weeks.
