Amritsar, July 23 The statewide bandh, called by the SAD and its allied offshoots, remained largely peaceful in this border district today. More than 12 Express mail and important trains, including the Shatabdi, were cancelled and rescheduled. Activists of Damdami Taksal Ajnala blocked the Vallah railway track from the wee hours of the morning.

Thanks J44SSD and RickySingh

I see where you guys are coming from now. I know we are still waiting for Justice and its very difficult to come by. I do agree the manner of the protests is indeed the correct one in light of what you are saying. I think the protests need to be taken to New Deilhi. Raj Karega Khalsa

Sorry but this naked truth that there is no justice for sikhs in india.we are still waiting for justice for 1984 what happen?this luccha saad is going to kill more siks in coming day and every time we are going to watch this like slaves.nobody going to listen even we have sikh puppet pm in india.slowely slowely this goverment creating a 1978 narakdhari kind of sitiution.WAKE UP SIKHS WAKE UP ONLY ONE SOLUTION OUR OWN HOMELAND.

Fact..

Waheguruji, the only reason for protesting in such a way is to make the Indian government recognize that there is something that is going wrong and needs to be taken care of. "Sikhs" being a minority in this country have to struggle a lot for getting their demands through the Indian Government. Even in case of Dera Baba, Indian Government could have had arrested the liar Baba or could have had taken some sort of action against him for killing our innocent brothers, but there was no action against him. Lemme give you an example.. You might be knowing about the Arushi murder case. Arushi's Murder case was assigned to the CBI which was resolved within a month's time. (Which shows Good efficiency of the Indian CBI) but about the 1984 case which is also assigned to the CBI, is still Pending and there has been no justice provided to the Sikh families who have lost their family members. Is it just because there were many of the Indian Political Leaders involved in the brutal act of 'Operation BlueStar'? Or has the CBI been given some money to keep this case Pending?? Is this what you call Justice??? It was really easy for the Government to declare that the people residing in the Akal Takhat of Sri Harmandir Sahib were Terrorists. But who really knows the fact? During 1984 the only media available in India was AIR (All India Radio) and Doordarshan, which again belonged to the Indian Government. They had just spread this nuissance across the country that they had just killed the Terrorists. But the fact is that they had killed the innocents. Burnt Sikhs Alive, Killed Sikh children, Raped Sikh women, and many such instances that will boil your blood!! There are certain circumstances that will make you feel shameful of being called an INDIAN.. Since 1984, there are many steps taken by the Government to destroy Sikhism from India. But with Waheguru's blessing, they have never been successful in their events. I am very sure that even Dera Baba has some connection with the Anti Sikh agency. If you happen to visit Punjab, you will find that maximum Sikhs are away from Sikhism... Reason: They are either misled by some dera Baba's (RSS, Radha Swami, Sacha Sauda or any such Government agency.) OR They are addicted to some of the other form of intoxicants.. (Which again is taken care of by the Govt agencies.) The condition is very intense here in India. And hence these kind of steps are really required to make our Sikhs aware of what really is going around. I am sure that by this act many of the Sikhs have at least got an idea that a Person can never be His/Her Guru. May Almighty Satguru, Waheguru shower his blessings and bring Peace in this Kalyug. Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh!

Conclusion soon necessary

I hope that this issue of Baba is resolved soon so that unwanted incidents can be avoided. Vaheguruji ka khalsa! Vaheguruji Ki Fateh!

I think you have missed something

Well Jajhar, Just for starters, it shows unity of all the so called Sikh organisations coming together to protest against the killing of innocent Sikhs by this fraudster baba. Its will make front line news in the corrupt India and hopefully force the Brahmin run government to at least bring this baba to justice. It is a peaceful way to get your heart felt disgust across to the masses that we will not take this crap of these government introduced and protected villians who can go around killing Sikhs as they feel. Its every Sikhs duty to stand up when the panth is being attacked, after all this baba claims he is the reincaration of our beloved father Guru Gobind Singh, Ji are we going to just take this insult, Blessed are those shaheeds to die to protect the honor of the panth. Do i need to go on?

Am I missing something?

As I understand it, the protests are against Dera Sacha Sauda and correctly so. However what is the thinking behind disrupting everyday traffic and businesses. What is supposed to be achieved by doing this?
